A very different type of ride than what a the previous A4 owner might expect. For one the cabin is much quieter. (something I personally would not mind) The din of the 1.8 tends to penetrate the interior of the previous A4 but not so much here. Acceleration seemed to be a bit slower than the previous A4 as well. This is a bit curious seeing as how this car has about 25bhp more than it's predesessor. The torque curve however seems to be much more linear and that annoying "surging" seems to have been delt with. The best part of the whole ride was the "Sport" suspension. The car's suspension felt as thought it was equiped with aftermarket components. The ride was firm but not "shocking". Short frequency bumps were not jarring and dips and larger bumps were soaked up without a trace of "bounce". All in all a very impresive ride. Buying this car with the sport package is highly recomended. In my opinion an aftermarket set up would not be needed unless ride height was a concern
