Just talked to Mike Mitrook, he ordered a set of KW Coilovers for $889-something total. They have 25 sets each of VW and Audi coilovers they are selling cheap, about $600-700 off. The A4 kit is under $1k, which is comparable with the Koni kit, and the Koni's are geared for track and the KW's are setup mainly for street driving.

Anyone got any thoughts? He is at work and didnt have all the forum info to post...

although it has all been second hand. I'd like a ride when he gets them on.

The progressive rate springs maintain a comfortable ride in the initial travel and get stiffer the harder you press. I have KW's on the Beetle and I had them on my A6 2.7T. No problems and I was very happy with them. The A6 was totally slammed and still had great ride quality.
