Yesterday I had three instances of being unable to shift my six speed into gear. All occurred immediately after starting the car in neutral. On each occasion I had to shut the car off and shift into gear before restarting. Once moving the car shifted fine. Very odd!

Classic had no explanation but thought it was possibly a clutch issue. Anyone else ever experience anything like this?

I think Jorge and Mike Hadly have both rebuilt 6 speeds before, so they know those transmissions. Clutch, maybe, either way, make sure you talk to Mike Hadly directly when at Classic and don't waste your breath on the service writers.
