Do I go till 7.5K, or 10K till I switch to Mobil 1 or should I have it done at the 5K?

What weight? 0w30 seems awefully light for Florida, so I was figuring 5w30 ?

At a high temperature they should both perform similar. I use 0w30 in my S4 because my oil inlets are probably smaller than later model S4's. I also waited until 10k before I switched to synthetics.

I've used synthetic in a number of cars, my C5 had it from day 1. Technically, the original oil from Audi is supposed to be a synthetic oil, of some formulation they keep as proprietary. There was a LONG post on the TT forum about it a while back...

people on A4 forum say it's a synthetic based oil, not a straight synethetic, that is designed to seal up the engine properly. most everyone advices waiting till at least 5k.. but I guess since I don't even have any Mobil 1 now and don't feel like buying a case, I'll wait till 7.5k or 10k.
