all the break dust from the OEM pads drives me nuts. It takes me forever to clean my wheels, although I havn't waxed them yet so that could help clean time..
But anyways, everyone says aftermarket pads really help with the dust, and offer better breaking benefits. Mintex red box are the popular names, which would cost me about $130 for a full set with wear sensors (do 2001's have wear sensors?), and about $110 for pads w/o. About $100 to install, I'm looking over $200 for the pads.
So is it really worth it? What do ya think. I don't have any plans to do a rotor upgrade. It's really unnecessary for me.
