APR comes down for the 1552 Design winter Treffen show, and they chip on the spot, that's what Jordan did when we did it last year.

Don't you have to buy/install from an APR distributer?

So I can get it from Reeves but pay out the ass. Thats no good. Also leads to my original point. I was told by my sales guy that Reeves has a package deal for the 1.8T for something like $600 installed, chip and K&N. I just don't know which chip is part of the package deal. I quess its possible they are sending whoever new ecu's to be chipped then swapping them out.

You guys that are already chipped, how many bought a seperate computer to help avoid dealer questions?

Don't mind me sometimes my readin' ain't so good, I thought Ross was being a smart ass until I got home and realized he said 'They do NOT have the ability to soldier there'. The NOT part is what I missed while reading this at work. Sorry man my bad.

I think you hit it right on the money, they have access to other ECU's so they can play the swapping game. I know no one there can soldier though.

mid Jan while I was away skiing in Colorado for a week (wooo!), but if I can save cash on the shipping, I might as well hit a show and have it done on the spot.

Chris Chapas sounds about right. Is Reeves a good dealer? I mean I bought my car there and Joey and the other people I met (service manager and finance guy) were really cool. You would of thought I was buying a Porsche the way I was treated, awesome experience. I only have 2000 miles on the car so I haven't experienced their service yet.

I saw a new black-ish (kind of dark out) S4 at the Florida Mall parked WAY out in the middle of nowhere a couple weeks ago, that wasn't you was it? Sounds like a stupid question but I figured how many S4s can there possibly be in Orlando?

So there isn't the level of communication you get from Mike or Jorge.

It's possible I was at the Florida Mall last Friday parked in between the Adam's Mark and Burdines near new C320. I have 18" BBS CH rims so its pretty easy to know it's me.

How do you like the CHs? They are some really cool wheels. Those and the LM IMO look the best on the A4/S4. Was thinking of CHs this winter and then having them powder coated gun metal grey, the cousin with the RX-7 has a 'deal' worked out with a member of his area 7 club who powder coats for a living and he'll do the wheels at cost, at least thats the plan.

I'll have to keep an eye out for your car, want to see those CHs up close.
