Good luck at Sebring. Be prepared to get your rotors and pads replaced :-)

http://forums.audiworld.com/qclubflorida/msgs/44.phtml</a

others with your car to see how your brakes will hold up...Sebring eats brakes and tires, you will want to make sure your brake pedal doesn't go to the floor in the middle of a run...

because of the repetitive high speed braking. You need to know some parts on your car may need to replaced after the event. Typically brakes are the one thing that can't hold well to a track event. Be prepared you may have to replace pads and/or rotors because of chunking or warping afterwards. I would suggest flushing your brake fluid before the track event and replacing it with Motul when you are going through your tech inspection list I wouldn't hit the track with brake fluid more than 6 months old.

But stock cars are fine. Because most of the events are instructor led, and not timed event, their are no classes and restrictions like you would have in racing as long as your car meets the tech inspection requirements your fine.

He's attended Putnam Park and will be going to Watkins Glen in a couple weeks. I talked to him and he pretty much said the same thing. Brakes and tires. His last track event he went through a front set of pads, half a back set and a complete set of tires.

So where do I sign up?

Bastard is a 26 year old commercial airline pilot with no attachments (no wife no kids no bills) so he has alot of "play money". I keep telling him "bitch, go buy a house and get married, THEN call me up and tell me about the latest mod for the 7, punk".
