That is some crazy .......! Is the 225 TT engine a 1.8 as well? If it is, whats the difference, other than the obvious 55hp?

The primary difference between the 180 HP and th 225 is the Turbo charger (K04 instead of K03). The piston heads are lighter, and there are obvious timing changes...

In theory you could K04 our engine and replace our computer with one from a 225TT? I understand it's not nearly as easy as that (or maybe it is I don't know) but in a nut shell it should be possible?

Is the driver side S4 intercooler the same/same size as the one in the 1.8T? I don't know if you noticed (hard not to), but the last week and half its been hot as piss and HEAT SOAKED IC's SUCK!! I read that APR is working on a FMIC and there is another company people mention, but on their site there is a message about their FMIC causing the computer to throw a code. Anyone try jetting water (Subaru STI) onto the intercooler? I just installed the S4 liner yesterday and was a little dissapointed. Granted, its going to be hard to tell a difference when the outside temp is over 100deg.

You would have to ask an A4 guy what the gain is...

You wouldn't need to move the computer. You could probably add a boost computer if you wanted too...

The TT has a 1.8 Transversally mounted engine. There are K04 kits available for the 1.8T that will not require changing the manifold. They all would require software changes because the compressor maps and fuel maps would be different.

A few people in the S4 forum have done a misting system for the intercoolers. A mister will be much more effect than a liner.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng22.shtml">http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng22.shtml</a</li></ul>
