What are some reputable local body shops to deal with for stuff like:

-adding aftermarket bumpers/sideskirts, and painting them
-door ding removal (paintless?)

They're located just behind Classic. Take the next right just after Discount Tire on Northbound OBT.

Then you can start finding a shop that will do the least amount of damage to your car in the process.

I've been told that if you want body work done right, find someone who does restoration rather than just a body shop. They take longer and cost more money but the finished product is top notch. From the body shop side, I've had work done by The Recovery Room. Did a good job and the price was fair for what I had done. They do alot of high end cars (there was 1999 Corvette siting in the tear down area that looked like it had been hit by a train. Car was less than a month old and the owner, pushing it a little to hard on I-4, lost control and nailed the center divider).

I'm not looking for anything major here.. if I ever get side skirts or a different front bumper, it be nice to know ahead of time of a place that does some good work to take it to to have painted and installed.

are there any paintless dent removal places in the area that actually do what they advertise?

and then you can judge which is the better quality job. My car will be there fresh out of the body shop....that is if the "paintless dent removal" guy shows up at the body shop to get out a couple dings I had (from parking lots).

Best advise....just come to a meeting and check out everyone's car and see what they have done. You will want to talk to Dave Head, he has had a lot of work done by a paintless dent removal guy in town.
