then I'm not sure what to think.

Lusso has a cleaner fluid you're supposed to apply before applying their wax...

Maybe Phil can chime in...

petroleum distillates are solvents... which are cleaner agents which also allows for carnauba to be softened to be applied with an applicator.

Zymol's, swissol and p21s are not mixed with solvents so they do not contain cleaner agents. Which is why it's safe to top a sealant with wax (after the sealant has dried)

Any wax that has a cleaner agent will remove any sealant that has been applied.

The cleaner agent that swissol, lusso, p21s, zymol, etc sells is just a "polish". You "clean" the paint of any dirt so that the wax bonds to the clearcoat, not to dirt.

If I am reading correctly, you are saying the wax can have a "solvent" or "polish" -- the solvent being harsher than the polish -- therfore, use a wax with the polish...correct?

So clarify...does Lusso have the solvent or the polish?

What about Pinnacle Souveran?

Thanks

a polish is a lubricating agent (different grades contain different abrasives), it is also used to remove oxidation, it cleans (removes wax, microscopic dirt, etc) and it's abrasive to aid in "cutting" and polishing.

some waxes contain cleaning agents for those who do not polish before wax application.

I don't think pinnacle souveran contains cleaning agents, but I think lusso does.
