I am moving from Boston, where I bought my 1998 A4 2.8 at Clair, to Charlotte, NC. As far as I know, there is only one Audi dealer in Charlotte. Has anyone out there had any experience with them and their service operation? I am nervous. Thanks.

Just kidding. %^)<p>Welcome to the Old North State. Haven't had any experience with the Charlotte dealer, so can't help you there. The one in Raleigh-Durham leaves much to be desired, though.

Jimmy,<p>I purchased my 97 A4 from VW/Audi South in Charlotte. I have had all my scheduled maintenance performed there as well....with mixed results. No major mistakes on their<br>part, however, they have failed to reset my oil change interval twice. Kind of annoying <br>to know your vechicle was serviced one hundred miles ago and the oil change reminder <br>comes on.<p>Overall, they are trying hard to develope a customer base...something they probably have <br>not seen in a long time in the Carolinas. Try to talk your local Audi mechanic into coming <br>down, we could use the experience!

In over 12 months on this forum, I've read generally good things about them. I stopped in there a few weeks ago about 4:45pm without an appointment and asked if they would take a look at my driver's side mirror which didn't appear to be heating. They replaced it and I was on my way in about 30 minutes. Their Audi salesman, Willie, is very knowledgeable and friendly as well.<p>Good luck in the "Queen City"!<br>
