my car is brand new. i picked it up last wed. and the dealer just washed the car prior to my picking it up.

i am planning on getting paint protection film, specifically avery's stoneshield film.

so, should i put a layer or several layers of wax on? i was assuming that it would be best not to.

but i want to see what y'all's recommendation is.

TIA.

"careful" about?

i heard some films orange or start peeling. i figure the latter is due to poor installation.

please let me know.

thanks!!!

templates from manila paper and cut from XPEL bulk for the trailing edges of all the fenders. In the sunlight you can't see it. It's a ton of protecion, especially if you're in a heavy truck traffic zone and also have winters where stones are put down with salt. If you get the technique down pat, it's fairly simple and I did muck up one pre-cut piece I had to replace for $60. I saved several hundred $$$ install fees though and had some "fun" along with a big learning curve. Some don't like it...this is my second S4 I've had XPEL on.
