I have been a detailer part time for a little over four years and when I got my order of leatherique oil and cleaner...it seemed a little weird to me that they ask you to put the oil on first before cleaning? Just curious because when I would detail cars I would clean the leather first and then apply the conditioner...guess this is the other way around??

A little advice/help would be great!

You want to vacuum up any debris so you don't scratch up your seat, but that is all. You do indeed apply the RO first then clean up the mess with the Pristine Clean.

Where in heck did you get leatherique oil and cleaner? Just use Medallion Leather Conditioner and Cleaner. Or just a leather conditioner. Even if it has viny in it. It works great. It cleans, prevents stains, and great conditioner. Not oily at all. Then I use 303 Aerospace Protectant on the rest or every week on the seats, because that won't take the conditioner out.
