Today I picked up the following

Meguiar's Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid Car Wax
- Recommended by a # of people as a Blitx Wax alternative. For anyone who has used this, and Blitz Wax or some other wax, which is you #1 pick
- I had my hand on 3M Liquid Wax but I don't remember seeing the name mentioned much. Is this stuff as good of a combo with 3M IHG as Blitz?

Meguiar's Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant
- I think this was recommended as an alternative to Vinylex which most people tend to think is too shiny. What are the opinions on this product? Is there another "gold glass" Meguiar's product that does similar?

Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Cleaner & Conditioner
- I wasn't sure what to use for my seats (Ecru), but I figured Meguiar's Gold Class stuff has to be good. I noticed the Lexinol (or whatever it is) thats made by the same people who make Vinylex but was unsure about using it. Opinions on this stuff and other leather cleaners/conditions would be very appreciated.

My collection also has:

Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance
3M IHG
(both of which speak for themselves :)

Again, I'd like opinions on the first 3 products in comparison to other products from people who have used a multitude.

I also need a recommendation on something thats the next level beyond IHG as far as abrasiveness/cleaning powers. Meguiar's has a Clear Coat product that sounds like its similar to IHG and is supposed to mate extremely well with the Gold Glass Liquid Wax, but I don't know much about that. Anyone have info? I need something that is actually the next level beyond the IHG.

Haha HDClown. I'm always in search of the best shining, easiest to use products. I'll keep this short - recently tried Zaino polish. Three coats and I wasn't too impressed - put a coat of Zymol over that. Wow!! Much better. (Now, this is the locally available Zymol - made by Turtle Wax for Zymol. Haven't tried the "real" thing.) But Zymol has really given me the deepest color (on black). Put it on, wipe if off. You'll be pissed because it looks smeary and uneven. So just pick up your buffer (foam pad) and water spritzer. Lightly spritz and buff. Stand back and admire.

Car care catalog from Griott's Garage. Pricey stuff - have their "Best of Show" wax. Haven't really been impressed. Like their detailing/between wash spray (can't remember the name), but have also found that a tiny bit of liquid Zymol diluted with distilled water in spritzer bottle works great.

Haven't tried Blitz nor Mequire's Gold Glass, but other Mequire products have been fine, so....

Use Vinylex - don't find it too shiny. Like it better than Zymol conditioner, which I find too oily.

Most people I talk to recommend using the Lexol PH Cleaner followed by the Lexol Leather Conditioner. Both available from any of the online car detailing stores or even Pep Boys.

Here is an excellent article on the matter:

....lasts much longer and has a "deeper" shine. I personally can not see any liquid wax lasting as long as One Grand Blitz paste wax. Liquid may be more convenient, but I think in general they won't provide as much protection.
