View Full Version : Langka Questions: Can I let the paint dry...

I've heard that the Audi paint is 'soft' and when filling very small or shallow holes with touch up then rubbing with Langka removes all the paint.

The directions call for waiting only 45 mintues but would it work better if I waited days? Also, my car is silver so do I fill with silver then clear then langka or what?

Please share your experiences or advice.

Thanks!

Thanks! Any more information you have would be great. I thought you could leave it one for more then recommended without having a problem getting it 'off'. TIA

Most of my repairs involved only applying clearcoat as the color coat was still in tact.

I did have one chip early on that needed some color (laser red). I applied the color base, buffed it down with langka, applied clearcoat and buffed it with langka.

I found the base coat touchup will not shine well. The dealer insisted that my laser red touchup did not require a clearcoat, but my experience is that it must be the same paint as the base color - rather dull when dry - and needs the clearcoat over to get luster.
