doltish problem to have - i know - but does anyone have a possible solution for repairing a cigarette ash burn on leather seats (it likely doesn't matter, but it's black napa leather in a 2001 TT roadster). fortunately it didn't burn too long so the hole isn't too deep - but i'm wondering if there exists some kind of solution out there, perhaps leather cream, black substance that can be spread to mask the damage or something altogether different?

thanks in advance ...

Some companies make leather repair kits. These are similar to the kits for cracked vinyl dashes. If you have a good enough local hardware store, or a good Checker type store, they might carry it. It isn't a patch, but more like a colored fill. It most likely won't look like new, but with some skill, you might be able to get it done on black leather. Sorry I don't know the brand name of one of the companies, but they do exist.
