It loses that "wet look" after the one or two rains, but it still keeps a matte black finish. Other products like armor wash off after the first rain, and the tire appears brown. The Meguire's will continue to look matte black for several weeks.

I read that Eagle A2Z is supposed to be good, too, but no experience with it. Mother's Back to Black works fairly well on faded black trim, so it might be okay for tires.
