I have found myself totally neglecting my wifes SUV (its a lease) while I give my A4 all of the love and attention it requires. If anything, i typically try out new detailing products on her vehicle before I used them on mine.

To avoid reprimand, I have had to start (things like vacuuming) on her car first just so I can justify doing mine..."I might as well do both cars now".

If you think detailing an A4 takes time, try doing a black A6 wagon! It not only requires nearly twice as much time to wash, etc......it also requires it a lot more often because of the color. Black? Great when clean, but never again.

cleaners/glazes/waxes before I can do my car a second time! Fortunately, my wife's TTQC is silver, so all it really needs is an occasional wash with intermediate wipe-downs with the duster. Hate to think of the scene if her car were black too!
Now all my son's friends with their dark-colored S4s are over here now that I tried to sneak a p-c r/o polisher by him...
