But it does work great on the trim. I use it @every 2 months on the exterior black trim pieces so it never gets too far gone. Greyhound Guy 06-20-2001, 06:46 AM Quikor 06-20-2001, 07:14 AM I use 303 0n the trim and the rubber edge by the glass. Ours was very hard at 1`st ,and would fold in when you put the window down. I apply it about every 2~4 weeks. I also use 303 on the black trim when you open the door. nick n 06-24-2001, 06:52 PM Ketch 06-26-2001, 06:30 AM Try cleaning them with a very simple chemical you have under the bath room sink that is very safe. Rubbing Alcohol, it will not damage the paint, it will remove the oxidation from the trim rubber, your towel will be very black from the oxidation. Then dress with a waterborne dressing. It is not recommended that one use any petroluem distillate dressing/dimethal silicone type. There is a technical article on this subject, as well as tires, rubber, vinyl and leather at www.autoint.com under the Magazine Articles section.

http://www.autoint.com</a

|
