I was cleaning my car and started to clean the windows. I used my old newspaper trick to get the gunk off. My neighbor looked at me like I was crazy. Anyway, thought I'd share it with you guys in case you didn't know. Gotta use old newsprint and has to be B&W print from what I've heard, not color. Works the same way as a duster (static or something). You can tell that it's working when the hair on your arm starts "jumping" to the window.

but if you're spraying THAT much window cleaner on yer windows, then you've got issues. For smokers, or lazy people who haven't cleaned in a while, just do them twice. But make sure you have a dry towel to use, or you'll get streaks.

Took me 2.5 summers to get windows right. Damn co-workers nic-named me the "Window King" when I started ;^)

Newspaper is ok for the outside BUT I do not want the print to rub off onto the fabric around the front and rear windows. Also news print on your fingers seems to get everywhere.

Old newsprint doesn't smudge nor will it mark anything.

The microfiber cloth picks up the haze and keeps it off the glass, unlike most papers that just smear it around. works like a champ. Also keeps the dashboard and other places clean without using cleaners.

You can get a pack of 8 for like 10 bucks at Costco.
