I noticed a few spots that I missed cleaning up, and I waxed over a week ago. Will this damage the trim, and how what can I do to get it off?

TIA

I would try a rubber/vinyl cleaner or even stronger some kind of petro based cleaner.

The best solvent to remove wax, tar, gum or sap from paint, rubber/vinyl trim or glass. Apply to a cool surface with a soft 100% cotton
cloth, gently blot until dissolved, then wash the area thoroughly with a car wash solution and if used on paint, follow up with a coat of
wax. This is also our favorite product to remove wax buildup from exterior rubber or vinyl trim. Apply to the rubber/vinyl with a soft
100% cotton cloth and gently rub until the wax is dissolved. On "pebble" finish rubber or vinyl, you may need to use a small, soft brush
to gently dislodge the wax. Wash with car wash and follow with a quality rubber/vinyl protectant. (Our favorite product to remove tar
or wax.)"<ul><li><a href="http://www.carcareonline.com/og_tar_remvr_10241.html">Go to carcareonline.com</a></li></ul>
