Mark your calendars and block off 7/13-7/19. No vacation? No excuse. Come anyway.

If you are a fan of ur quattros and Audi racing in the US, you will NEED to be in Colorado Springs, CO that week. Yes, last year's Urq25 celebration was fun, but it was nothing compared what this year's event will be.

Last year's raffles were good, but this year the big prize will be a real live (and VERY nice) ur quattro. The track this time is Pikes Peak International Raceway. This year's back drop for photos will be Pikes Peak... This will be EVERYTHING that Urq25 times 4 (that is quattro).

And cars? Well, we're keeping that a _little_ quiet right now, but suffice it to say that the "special" cars and drivers will be very appropriate to the venue.

The website is still being fleshed out, but the link at the bottom is the new site for information on this year's 100 year celebration.

See you there!!<ul><li><a href="http://www.100yearcelebration.com/">100yearcelebration.com</a></li></ul>

Are we centralizing at one particular hotel? I saw plenty of hotels along the interstate, and maybe we should pick one towards the south side of town close to the track?

Does it have trailer parking?

This sounds really good. I may cancel out on a couple of other (non-Audi) cars events I had planned to do this.

Sounds great!
Is there any consideration for "Weekend Only" registrations? I know there are a few of us that will only be able to attend the Friday evening through Sunday schedule. The track time doesn't work for me.
Thanks,
Dave

Yes the website is up, yes we are working hard to refine the site, and get the hard information on it as fast as we can. The goal of that site is to have a single reference for what *is*, including details and registration for each/all activities as they are finalized.

I joined in as the primary Marketing/Media relations interface. Our vision is to have the site hold only the reference/facts/sign-up, and the boards and forums as the places to share the enthusiasm and involvement in the activities themselves.

Whatever is on that site now, is what we have now. Many negotiations are in the works, which will make the site have an even more important role as central clearinghouse for all updates.

The dates are locked as noted, and several events are in the final planning stages, as can be seen on the site. A lot more information will be coming in the next couple weeks, including on-line registration, pricing and specific details of activities.

Check back often, a lot of changes are still coming to the site. We will also seek a separate forum on AW, which should reduce the redundant bandwidth regarding this event.

Both feet in, I remain...
