Not the flat style like are found on the '83 UrQs

I need to find a set like these:

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/21175/usa_front_chrome_brezel_suround.jpg">

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/21175/chrome_brezel_surround_audi_iii.jpg">

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/21175/chrome_brezel_surround_audi_iv.jpg">

Any help you can offer is MUCH appreciated. I have a set from an '82 4000, but I think those are 1) for the flat grill (They're in PA at the moment, so I can't look at them to check them out) and 2) going to be used on our UrQ as they're minty.

Thanks guys/gals!

These are extreamly rare and hard to find.

I explained that AFAIK the sloped quad setup is 85-86 UrQ only, NA only, meaning less than 100 cars had them from the factory, making it extremely rare.

I think the last time I saw anything for these for sale was an NOS bezel that went for over $250 by itself years ago. That's just the bezel for one side, so...

AFAIR, he purchased the last remaining set(s) in North America when they went NLA.

I do have my old pair, but they are not in the best condition.

I can't recall the price, but I've still got the receipt somewhere. Even back then, I was surprised they were still available. These have to be among the most rare urq production parts. Sorry, mine aren't for sale.

I still haven't built up the nerve to mount them on the car yet. I wonder how difficult it would be to reproduce these? Even if it were a simple all-black version, I'd like to have something to run around public roads with and have a relatively clean inner-lamp delete option on the track.

Gary, are your old ones good enough to risk taking a molds from? Demand is probably very low, so I'm thinking some kind of home-brew ABS plastic job. I've never done anything like this, but I've seen DIY dash pod instructions that describe the process.

I relieved Chris of quite a few urq parts he had in his shop. Well into 4 figures worth.
