pretty straight forward given the location of the FP and Battery. IIRC I just used the FP lead that comes into the trunk green/yellow in my case, as my relay trigger instead of power feed (thereby keeping 12V hi amp power from running back though the weak fuse box and wiring.)and wired up a standard 30 amp relay to battery and FP from there.

hold down nut had worked itself loose. Upon further inspection, the threads on the rod are stripped. Very carefully I was able to get it tight enough to where now the cap will hold vacuum. If it happens again, I'll have to cut new threads on the rod. Thanks for the help!
