I purchased my audi in the fall, and the windows have always been very very slow and have needed help going up and down, now my passenger window doesnt work at all.
I dont use the car often but when summer hits ill need those windows to work.
Is there a fix or a source for new regulators ?
Thanks.

Most often it's the motor dieing, but sometimes the white plastic guides around the cable break apart & jam it up.

You pretty well have to pull out the regulator, nad take it all apart, and lube it up, or find out it's borked.
When you go to take apart the cable drum, be *very* careful. If it flies apart, it separates the truly patient person from the "screwit, I'm off to buy another one" person.. :-)

Try power from a know source straight to the window motor. There are plenty of places the wiring could be faulty. Usually with cable problems the window either falls down into the door or you hear the cable banging around in there.

I could use a few for my car- the rest of the system seems reasonably durable as long as you keep it clean and lubed.
