The bumpers for instance look like production items. Rally items: Hood pins and trunk hold-downs, oil cooler, bullet mirrors, fog light delete, roll bar, rear valence cut-out for straight back exhaust.

But what's on the cowl below the wipers???

the wipers?..."

I'm wondering if it's not some sort of heat escape, instead of ventilation via holes in the hood or the extra holes added to the front fascia in the actual rallye cars. I can't imagine it's cowl-mounted gauges a la American muscle cars. For that matter, could it be cowl induction?? 8^)

ventilation for the air intake.

The other side(driver side) is a mystery since the only thing over there would be pierburg.
