Are there any decent road courses close by? I haven't even been out to look yet, might come out the end of the month.

and Motorsport Ranch Cresson about 2 hours North.
Also The Driveway Austin which is also about 30 minutes South.

Texas World Speedway about 2 hours East and
Motorsport Ranch Houston about 3 hours away.

Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth has a Roval course, but its not that good.

Let me know what you're looking at, I'm a structural engineer so I know the area well and the ins and outs of Austin.

Schools are good in Marble Falls.

Lake LBJ is a nice constant level lake.

I forget, what type exactly, of inspections do you do?

Marble Falls School District which is excellent. Burnet Shools are also Excellent (I went to Lampasas and both those Schools were in my district). Marble Falls is Booming because the Lake there is so nice.

I'm a structural engineer so I do construction type inspections.

That area is good soils so not many issues with Foundation movement.

Its a bit far if you work in Austin or something. About 90 minutes in good traffic. But if you will be working in Marble Falls thats okay, or anywhere along 1431 (Lago Vista, Cedar Park).
