View Full Version : heres an "article" written about the urq on my local page. Alpine 87.5 03-07-2008, 08:06 PM I don't really like it, but figured id post it up.

http://www.azaudi.org/</a

Mr.FRU-T-Pants 03-08-2008, 05:55 AM Certainly a cynical, albeit realistic viewpoint, and there seems to be a bitterness in the tone. Interesting that in his description of the tendency of the oil to coke in the turbo after a hard run, that he didn't mention that's pretty much the case with most turbo-charged cars; being wise to cool down ANY vehicle with some moderate driving after a hard run . :/ Also noticed that he referred in the same vein to the turbo bearings being subject to above conditions, where we all know that the old turbos(KKK), have bushings and not bearings. I didn't like the article either, but it's interesting to hear a bearish take. chefbob 03-08-2008, 11:36 AM Mr.FRU-T-Pants 03-08-2008, 04:44 PM gmbchef 03-08-2008, 05:06 PM chefbob 03-17-2008, 10:03 AM but hopefully in another month or so I'll have a new place to lay my knives :) Schecky 03-24-2008, 09:04 PM I have read this before, it was published somewhere else previously. Let me look through my folder of urQ articles on my desktop tomorrow, i know at least part of it is not original. |
