Did you check out any of their other projects? Ultra cool and maticulous as well. I can't even imagine what their shop rates would run. The cool thing about that Quattro project is the detail it reveals to us onlookers. It could be very helpful to someone trying to build their own I should think. Skyler@Achtuning.com 03-07-2008, 06:44 PM At first I was going "what the hell are they thinking" but soon I couldn't help but really appreciate the quantity and quality of work they did and I think the finished product was awesome! squidix9 03-08-2008, 05:58 AM stevenmurray 03-08-2008, 09:47 AM I think a lot of guys might want to restore their cars but are fearful parts are not available. bumper plugs, glass, glass seals ..etc. Plus mechanicals. I checked with my dealer and WX exhaust valves are NLA for example. I thought maybe I'd have ONE on hand just incase. I saw some guy rebuild his Lamborgini V12 for $75K and I wondered if that's because parts are NLA so pistons, valves and whatever had to be made from scratch? fusilier 03-08-2008, 01:58 PM squidix9 03-08-2008, 03:37 PM Or get one from someone who is a distributor for Precision Replacement Parts. Their part number WCR 434 $166.81 or the part carries a NAGS FW 434 number. auditqc83 03-09-2008, 08:05 AM |
