For instance bearings can be had direct from China for less than 1 dollar each whereas they cost over 30 dollars each here after markups from companies like Purvis. Exact same bearing. Ive worked with some Chinese companies before for small orders and they're great! Quick google search reveals several firms who make oil seals. Quality is totally dependent upon your final cost objectives. They can be anywhere from top notch pieces to absolute junk, but generally doing small orders isn't a problem for Chinese companies because they're tooled up and looking for direct business with Westerners. Can you get metric drawings of the seal? Thickness and diameters? |
