Mr.FRU-T-Pants' car does, but that's a whole different story. ;) The urq, 5kq, 200, etc. have an 016 gearbox. And I don't know a site with comprehensive information on it. But the AudiWorld Historical Model Guide does list gear ratios and such. But be aware that there are some bits of incorrect information on there.

http://www.audiworld.com/model/historical.html</a

That have a different housing and extra mounting points. Pictures if you need some.

It has the same peculiar non stock back end.
This is 4.625 spare. What does the rear transmission support look like on your car? You can see the huge machined aluminum collar that bolts into the unibody in this picture. Excuse my mess.

The front of mine is an 016 so that parts different, but the rest is really similar. I notice that your shift mechanism is Identical to mine, the only difference is the bent hollow rod going to the shifter.

It has the same alloy collar that bolt's to the tunnel.

I also have a 5spd shortbox, although I don't know the ratio. The 6spd has it etched on an info plate on the bellhousing, but the 5spd doesn't. All I know is it's higher than 4.11, but that's about it. And it's also an LS diff.
