OK It's time to replace the old cat with a high flow one. Any recommendations from owners that have gone through this.
Thank,
Bob

Thanks, Nerdhotrod it looks like one buys the generic 3" model and then has to modify the exhaust to make it fit.

I noticed that the ETKA showed a part # for the test pipe, so a couple of years ago I gave the part number to my local dealer. He got it in! Luckily Massachusetts dosen't check emissions on vehicles 83 or older.

Thanks Mike, NJ does check emissions unfortunetly. However, in two years I can go as a historic vehicle and not have to go through it anymore. Bob

Metal core, flow benched to 578cfm.

you can order part number 7102 (3" metal matrix cat) from www.independenttuning.ca but you'll need to call or email them, it's not on the website yet.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53920/catoflife.t.jpg"></center><p>i just purchased 2 HJS race cats.

one is going on my urS6, but will work with any 3" exhaust.

it will need special fabrication to clear the bell housing, but this things a work of art. never seen anything like it until i researched.

i can currently only reccomend that you use v-band clamps to secure it and make friends with a local fabricator if youre going to go all out... or get something specific to the ur coupes and save a headache.

im difficult...

Thanks, HJS was also recommended by another UR driver. Bob
