I am new to this forum and am currently the high bidder on the vehicle in question. The mileage is low and I was just curious if maybe somebody out there knew of this urq's history? The seller claims that it is 100% original. I'm not new to Audis, and I am in the market for a urq and there aren't too many to choose from. This seems like a good start. Anyone? Thanks in advance.

I dont know any of the history but the Steering wheel, Smoked Tail lights with the badly faded center section of tail lights.
Also I highly dought it has only 28k on the odometer.

The blacked out taillights (factory Euro pieces), Euro headlights and 20V steering wheel are tasteful and pricey upgrades. If for some reason you wanted to put on the original parts, they are cheap and easy to find, with the exception of the '85 only headlight surrounds. The rest looks very nice, especially the seats. Nice color.

The ad is pretty poorly written, so I doubt that it will go very high. That makes a BIG difference. My guess is that the reserve is around $15-$16k, looking to what these cars have gone for.

Bill Bremer of the urquattro registry might be able to give you some background on the car, especially concerning the mileage. Looks like a 28k mile car from here. It would be good if you could find someone local who knows quattros check the car for you.

NOW this guy has relisted the car as a ALLROAD so first it was a Sport Quattro and now a Allroad! WTF is up with that it sounds like a scam.
