At 13,512 miles my air bag light came on this morning. I tried shutting the car off and starting back on a few times to see if it was just a glitch. But the light stayed on. Anybody have any ideas? It was fine last night. Funny thing is my friends 99 A4 also has the air bag light on (going in for service next week). I hope it isn't anything too bad.

mine came on also, around 12k miles;
i'm having it looked at in a couple of weeks when i take it in for the tie rod recall.

be sure to post back what your air bag light problem/fix was, and i'll do the same.
