Hello fellow audi fans, wondered if anyone could point me to a good audi mechanic in San Diego?

For which model? If you have a UrQ, I would recommend Ron Wood in Huntington Beach. I have yet to take ours to him, but have heard very good things about him. Have no idea for SD tho, sorry.

It is a total "basket case" right now :(
The bottom end died, so we are looking at options now. So far we will either buy an MC block and rebuild it (I have to research cost of parts etc, because it may not be cost-effective) or we might just toss a 5000 Turbo motor in (there is one ready to go for $500.00). I want to go 20v Turbo, but it just ain't in the budget right now ;)
And since we spent so much having the original head completely re-worked ($200.00 in valves alone) I am thinking we might as well re-work the original block or an MC block and stick with this motor. Any input is welcome!!!
Sorry for the long ass post!
