My 85 steering wheel surface is flaking off. Not pretty or comfy. I think I've read that folks get the 3 spoke wheel from the later 20v urq. Is that a direct fit? How about the sport quattro wheel? The RS2 wheel (pictured)? Is there an aftermarket Momo?

Thanks,
Rich

I put a momo wheel on my UrQ a couple of months ago. Momo hub adapters are redily available for the UrQ's. I never did like the skinny original wheel. I did however keep the same diameter.

http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/34876/myinside.t.jpg</a

Ok I say will not fit but what I mean is that it is not a direct fit. All Audi steering wheels from the last 20 years will fit on the Urq steering colum but it is a matter of the horn working. Audi has never changed the spline pattern the the steering wheels. I have put a New S4 three spoke wheel on my Ur but I had no horn (it also looked like crap becuase I had no airbag). The RS2 has a different horn hookup which will interfer with your factor horn hookup. But anything is posible and you can make it usable with some work.
