Guys , Gals.

I am still looking for a project URQ, found one it got away :( ... Someone bought it from under me...( ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)

Any leads and or help would be greatly appreciated!

I will consider a care that is not running.
It will be a Sport Quattro conversion project so even as little as a staright chassis is what I am after.. Bad engine, bad interior etc is ok...

I know there out there so help out and let me out ..

Couldn't you use a Coupe uni-body and then get the Dialynx Sport Quattro lightweight body kit. That should work fine especially if your going to shorten the body then overweld all the seams for rigidity. Use a 4000 Quattro gearbox and rear diff (4.11) pretty easy to find at a junkyard. Install a 20V turbo and your all set.

Ya ,, true

But would rather start with the real thing...
And try and be as authentic as possible,.

Start with a rolex , just make it a better one.
intead of start with a timex and turn it into a rolex :)

Thanks for the heads up!

Coupe floorpans are completely different, you'd have to transplant one from a 4kq. It's cheaper in the long run to buy an UrQ.

Good point Evilclown.

Wasn't there a guy in Europe who took the floorpan from a 4kq and welded it to the body of a UrQ that had a completely rusted floorpan?

If you get the shortyQ together HMS Sport, make sure you post pics here. The thought of making a SportQ has crossed my mind once or twice.

i have yet to find old audis at the junkyard...but maybe i could pick up a parts 4kq, and a parts gt?! id have nearly enough there to frankenstein them, right? id like to do a SQ conversion, but id likely not shorten the car.

thanx,
