In the middle of a purchase of a '83 urquattro with a somewhat brown, tacky "Zebra" interior.... front passenger seat is torn, and wondering what interior, besides another urquattro, will fit? Coupe GT? 4000CS? I'm looking for seats primarily, but if I can find an entire interior, leather preferred, I'll go there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If you ditch the Zebra interior, I'd be interested in it./

CGT seats and door panels fit, but you need a 4kq carpet and center console. The later ('85+) CGT front seats have the fore/aft adjuster turned around from what it is on the early ur q. There are a few ways around that.

If you are picky, you will want the seat belt latch (bolts to the seat frame) from a 4kq, as well as the reclining knob mechanism.

FWIW, finding good a great CGT interior is not easy...

I'm partial to the zebra which is in my UrQ now, but I've got a recaro seat in the driver's side and two 6.5" speaker holes cut in the doors. Passenger side seat is perfect. I'm interested in your door panels and seats.

We can work out a round robin of sorts? If you buy his complete leather interior. I think his leather is in good shape.

Thanks for the interest, but I'm going to hang on to it for now......It's in really nice shape and kind of growing on me. I will eventually replace the front seats, though and I'll let you know when that happens. I've got other things that are more important right now, like too much back pressure, that's not allowing the power to happen. Anyway, that's another thread. Take it easy........Jim
