<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/38899/new_wheels.jpg"></center><p>Well here it is.

The wheels are 17X7.5 Team Dynamics Monzas with 225/45 R17 Yokohama AVS Sports.

I lowered the car one inch.

The 4.625 diffs are out and the 4.11 diffs are in. Car is geared so that 120mph is obtainable.

Bruno was selling that car for over 6 months prior to purchase, but you were probably like me. Thinking it was 50-60K.

I was really surprised to see it on Ebay for 25,000.

I saw it around the time I bought mine, but I thought he wanted more(rumor).

Which motor did he give you with it?

Does it still have the long 6 speed?

Its got the Aluminum block 20V with Sport Q intake Manifold, Rs2 exhaust manifold and turbo.
About 3800 miles on the engine. 24 psi boost. Very nice engine. You can see pictures of it in previous posts.

The transmission was two 5 speeds. One with 4.625 final gear rations and one with 4.11 final gear rations. Two rear differentials to match.

I had been loking at it for myself, but ended up with a different car.

I thought it had the long 6spd though, maybe I'm confused.

I have many picturs of that car, and know Bruno as well, as he knows my car too.

Why did you change the trans to the lower ratio? I have the 4.86 in mine, and I think it's just dandy. I know most of the guys running the S2's are running the 4.11, but I don't think it's nearly as strong either.

I'm going to a asphalt track event. The 2.9 mile road coarse at Texas World Speedway. IMO, the 4.625 was too short for the avg. speed of the track and the straight. Keep in mind, both transmissions had shorter 3,4 and 5. So with the 4.625 it was running about 4000 rpm at 60mph in 5th!. Which means a top speed of about 90mph limited by gearing. The 4.11 set still has shortened 3,4 and 5 but it runs about 3400 rpm at 60mph in 5th which is more reasonable for what I'm doing.

I can still put the 4.625 back in if I need some serious 0-80 mph performance like a hill climb.

Bruno still has his A2 original Audi Works car.(I think) The car I bought is a UrQ conversion. And is a damn near identical copy of the mechanicals of the originals. You might have pictures of his original A2 car which more than likely has a 6 speed. It has the vents in the rear fender flares, as well as the raised rear wing with oil coolers.

I know the car was just a bit different from what you describe.

That setup, is a bit unusual. With my 4.89 setup, everything is loaded up front, and once you get to 4-6, it gets a bit more normal. It is set to give me 130 at 8k. I know Bruno was looking at my ratio's and liked them quite a bit.

In any event, have fun!

BTW, where are you located, for future reference?

As typical of one of Bruno's car's it's especially well thought out.

I noticed a lot of the same things as on mine too.

A few that were different too.

The control for 4wd, just under the dash. How does that function? Mine doesn't have a center diff, so it's full time always.

Also the control just to the right of the seat, brake bias? Mine is dash mounted, but it doesn't do anything, since the front and rear are locked anyways.
