I recently located a set of four brand new Ronal R8 15 x 8" wheels for Ur-quattro. As you might know, these wheels are not only very hard to find in decent condition but also sold very quick even in fair condition. Anyway, they really costed me a fortune since these wheels are "Brand New" not refurbished. Initially, I was looking for a set of used wheels. I have contacted most Audi specialists. Their price range is from $650 to $1500 if they are lucky to have them but they don't. Finally, I came across a friend of mine to locate the only brand new set in silver color, OEM Audi/VW part. (In fact, I prefer white more...) I believe this set will be the last brand new one in US. IF anyone is very interested, please e-mail me. I might consider to post them in eBay auction.

I have a new set also, you can still order them through dealers. The Pearl White versions are also available in Europe, but perhaps not in the US. The price wasn't that bad, like $250/wheel, if my memory serves me...

The factory wheels weren't really silver, more of a goldish color. The almost identical aftermarket version IS silver and does not (obviously) have the Audi part number cast in.

I just confirmed with my local Audi dealer in San Jose, CA. These wheels are $438 per wheel in dealership among US. There is none availiable in CA. By the way, $250 per wheel is a very good deal for brand new OEM wheel. I wish I have known you earlier. In fact, my wheels are on the way to CA. They are marked as Audi/VW part, not Ronal direct retail product, which is in 15 x 7 in silver color with a center cap. They look urgly though because I have seen them in person. Please let me know if your dealer still have them in that price. Couple of my friends are very interested to get an additional set at that price. Thanks in advance.

I also had a set of the 15x8 Ronal R8, non-factory wheels. These are no longer available. They are identical to the Audi wheels except for color and part number. Actually, if you find a set of 15x7 R8s in a 5x112 pattern you have found something really rare and fairly valuable. The 15x7 4x108s are also very sought after.

As to the price, check with a dealer like Clair that gives discounts. There may or may not be anymore in the US. If you are looking for another set of 15x8s, let me know.
