ibjust bought a beautiful 1983 ur quattro with (sit down) 55,000 original miles on it

the guy who had it before me is the service manager of a well known audi dealer here in NJ
He bought the car from its original owner who in turn blew the motor up

since then the motor has been rebuilt. (not run since re-build) and i cant for the life of me get the car to spark!!! i have a small spark when you turn the key on and off quickly. I got 2 new sensors (TDC and RPM) still no spark. the fuse\relay panel looks like 40 mice had a field day in it. please!!!! you guys gotta help me!!!
if anyone has the Hitachi MAC-02 pin diagram or maybe some sort of repair book that has ignition testing in it. i also need the total fuse panel wiring diagram\scematic. i also need to know what relays go where. PLZ!!! share the wealth =]

Whats up with those ur-quattro fuse panels do they all burn up to save the fuses??? =]

This is the Bentley covering the 84-87? Audi 4ks, 4kq, CGT, and QT. The only difference I saw was one fuse that was wired differently.

hey, this past month i got my coupe on the road. i spent two weeks with the wiring, it's a bitch. I may be able to help you. I transplanted a 87 wiring harness too mine, but i had a similar problem. Drop me an email later, or preferibly an IM.
Your problem may have something to do with the fuel pump relay. It's supposed to send a signal to keep the ignition firing during cranking. Mine would spark and then stop. I had a ton of problems with the fusebox and relays. So i'll try to remember what i did.
