I'm not sure if it really matters all that much but I was wondering if for '00 the 2.8 has "drive-by-wire" like the 1.8T. Also, has the Motronic system been changed as well. Do you think any of these changes will make a difference in how the car feels? Thanks.

There have been some road tests of other Audis/Volks with drive-by-wire with the tester complaining that the drive-by-wire does not have the linear feel of the cable when accelerating.
