Hi all,

I'm thinking ignition switch. Battery is fully charged, starter is good but I get nothing when I turn the key. No sound, nothing.

Any thoughts? BTDT's?

Thanks

How is the battery ground? Could very well be the iggy switch.

It should be there while cranking.

if not you may have a bad cell in battery and would still show 12v without a load

it should have 12v when the ign. is cranking. if you put 12v to it the starter should spin.

Re: It's a brass strip on the fuse panel, between the key & the starter (electically).

Great as a test point for trying to figure out if your ign switch , or the starter is bad (by putting a test light to it).

Also handy for turning the motor over when under the hood. Just put 12V to the stip, and the starter should crank!
