And maybe trace the source easier.

In a big storm my trick of parking nose down didn't work - the carpet particularly that yellow undercarpet padding was wet , and would probably stay that way for a week. Carpet = BAD.

I'll have to put the console back in, hopefully by February. Just incase you're wondering I did put the front seats back :)

I'd have to be certain all the water leaks are resolved first. That could take a guy like me many years.

I'm still laughing. You should see how long anything takes me on the cars. Seems forever. At least I'm not alone.

Anyhow, check the sunroof drains first, unless you have already. As for the padding, JC Whitney sells a lot of that sort of universal stuff.
