the left stem, right? I can set the clock, but can't seem to get dash dimmer to work. PS just became proud lessee of 00/avant/2.8/Q/tip/volcano/sport/convenience/weather w/cd changer and xenon- my best choice ever

I just turned on the lights in my new a4 last night for the first time. Yikes! Way too much light. I couldn't find anything in the owners book about dimming them. Whats up?

That's how it works on the S4, I assume it's the same on the A4.

It is the right stem- I was afraid to reset odo, but they dim w/out resetting odo (nt)
