1.) There is always warm air blowing on my feet through the vents even when the AC/Heat is turned off. What gives.

2.) Trying to position the window in the exact place is a hassle with the auto up/down switches. Is there a way to bypass this?

The warm air from foot well area is normal. It was like that in my dad's old '84 5000S, my '86 4000S, and of course,... my A4. It's not alot of hot air, just enough that you would notice it.

No bypass switch.... you need fast trigger fingers. :)

it took me a little while to figure out that you can push the window switch down twice to stop it. I was pushing down then up to stop it and it is not as smooth.
