The 4kq hadn't been driven in a while, and the last time I really drove it was to work a performance rally. Very dusty. Went to spray the windshield, washer pump wasn't working, and the wipers were siezing again.
Then, the brakes were making nice noises... and had lots of pedal travel.
Tore washer pump out, pulled it apart, unsiezed the motor, works perfect again.
Tore wipers out, disassembled the drivers side linkage, was so rusted inside that you couldn't move by hand. Pulled the little circlip, removed the bearing shaft, cleaned it all up, reassembled with some bearing grease, and it works beautifully.
Tore the front brakes apart... drivers side was down to the backing plates in one spot, passenger side was pulling away from the plates, and the pad compound was bending, causing the excess pedal travel. New pads, and all is good again.
Car still needs new rear tierods and a suspension rebuild... but not before the red 90q gets a new fuel pump/filter.
