I'm still trying to fix my power problem. (it bogs out if I go more than 1/2 throttle) I took my car to school and hooked up a pressure gauge. First I hooked it directly up to the banjo bolt infront of the fuel dist. With the key on I got 60 psi (5 below specs)

Then I hooked it up inline so I can run the engine. With the key on I got 45 psi, and whith the engine running, the gauge maxed out to 150 psi. Wierd.

Is my pump going or what?

Thanks.

I'd be suspicious of the electrical connections to the pump. They can get pretty corroded down there. Also how did engine speed effect fuel pressure?

...I think it's supposed to pump out something like half a gallon over the course of a minute. I forget the actual amount (I'm sure someone on here knows) but if it's pumping out way too little, that seems like it could be your problem. Is the pump excessively noisy?

The bently manual calls for 1000 cc in 30 sec. with 12 volts at the pump.
