Ok, so I have a lot more to do than just cosmetic stuff. But yesterday, I did an interior cleaning of a lifetime. Headliner (I even removed the sunroof switch panel to clean under those edges!), seats, dash, parcel board, and I even detailed the Audi insignias on the floor mats!

Today, I'm tackling my new-to-me bumper that I got from the Audi Trippin boys after I was rear-ended. Some pics for your enjoyment. And for those of you who say I've posted pics of my hands which are always too clean...the bumper black spray leaked all over my right hand. :)

Before Bumper Black:

During Bumper Black: (These things are unwieldy! I had to put a tire on side because it flips over!)

Before new bumper from wreck--no tail pipes!:

After new bumper--still needs another coat of bumper black--with tail pipes!:

Yes, that's a pony-tail holder on the shifter:

Clean headliner thanks to Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (can't see the saggy rear!):

Too bad her exterior has a bit to be desired, her exhaust has a hole, and her carrier bearing howls...but hey, at least she still makes me smile.

I tried your tip about cleaning the headliner, by using the Magic Eraser. But on mine, I cleaned a 6" by 4" section and the eraser was almost gone! It seems to chew the crap out of those erasers. What's the trick?

Thanks.

How on God's green earth did you remove the nuts that held on the center of the two bumper cover "pedestals?" I tried to remove my car's bumper cover last weekend, and the six nuts around the frame rails came off easily enough, but it looked like there were fasteners buried down inside the frame rails, accessible only through a little hole in the bottom. Or am I way off base?

Oh, and love the rims! haha :)

As for pulling it off, after you pull up the trunk liner (that was a bit of a pain in the a$$), there's just those 6 bolts. She should then basically slide right off...or at least mine did. Maybe it was because I had been rear-ended and my bumper was already "unclipped" on the sides. But after those 6 bolts, you should be good to go.
