I was out getting some chips to chow with the game today, and was doing my usual beat the crap out of every gear routine. When I got home, I lifted the hood and the turbo and exhaust manifold were glowing very bright red indeed! I've noticed this before, but not to this degree. I recently installed a cat back, and it seems the turbo is glowing even more. I also have a TAP stage I chip. Perhaps the freer exhaust is causing the turbo to be more of the critical path in terms of exhaust restriction.
